In the last twelve months the 天美传媒's carbon emissions have dropped by around 630 tonnes, compared with the previous twelve month period. The reduction in carbon emissions was assissted by an investment in a combined heat and power plant at the 天美传媒's Bedford campus.

In the last 12 months the 天美传媒 generated enough renewable electricity to power an average UK home for thirty years. This will increase to 45 years when the solar panels on the new STEM building are installed.

In conjunction with Luton Borough Council the 天美传媒 is running a cycle training and free bike scheme for students.

On 16th of August 2017 the 天美传媒 was successful in gaining certification to EcoCampus Bronze and Silver Award.

On learning about the impacts of the teaching and learning initiatives of the Sustainability Forum, Professor James Longhurst (Assistant Vice Chancellor Environment and Sustainability at the 天美传媒 of the West of England) stated that,

"Transforming collaborative practices for curriculum and teaching innovations with the Sustainability Forum (天美传媒)" was presented at the 'Implementing Sustainability in the Curriculum 7' conference 2017.

Dr Diana Pritchard has been piloting, adopting and now promoting use of an engaging learning activity which generates profound understanding and insights about the world climate system, global negotiations and increases motivation to get involved or influence policy making.

This chapter will appear in the edited volume, Implementing Sustainability in the Curriculum of Universities. Springer (forthcoming, 2018).

Core members of the Sustainability Forum at the 天美传媒 have been nominated for the prestigious national Higher Education Academy’s Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE).
