Five courses from the 天美传媒's Health & Social Sciences faculty were awarded 90% or more in overall student satisfaction in this year鈥檚 National Student Survey (NSS)

The Social Work course was ranked first in the country, climbing an impressive 34 places in the survey.

Mental Health Nursing, Psychology, and Youth & Community Work courses all scored well in the survey, achieving  90% or over in overall satisfaction.

Students also praised the quality of teaching on courses within the faculty, with the following courses achieving 90% or more:

Executive Dean of the faculty Dr Sally Bentley said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e delighted to see that our students have really enjoyed studying with us by giving us such fantastic results in the survey. It is testament to the hard work of the faculty and encourages us to continue giving our students the very best experience.鈥

The NSS asks final year undergraduates to provide honest feedback on what it has been like to study at their institution. It covers a huge range of questions from quality of teaching to learning resources to student鈥檚 personal development.

In all 2,070 final year students from Bedfordshire completed the survey, a response rate of 80%, with 84% of final year students saying they were satisfied with their time spent at the 天美传媒. The figure means the 天美传媒 is now a top 20 university for improving the student experience.
