Review and reporting

During AY23-24, existing sustainability provisions (as manifested in reference to the UN SDGs) are being audited with the use of the . This is conducted by eight dedicated academics, in all four Faculties. Their findings will provide baseline information on the current provision.

Ongoing curriculum and course developments regarding education for sustainability are ensured, reviewed and reported.

  • By Course Information Forms [DOCX] requires course teams to indicate the education for sustainability elements that are addressed in new and modified courses including content and pedagogic approaches.
  • By availability to course teams of the Careers and Employability Course Audit and Planning Toolkit which provides tangible ideas to embed, and scaffold - through level descriptors – the UN SDGs.
  • The Periodic Review Process ensures that as courses are updated and reviewed regularly; elements of the education for sustainability agenda are incorporated.

Since 2022, curriculum enhancements for sustainability and the UN SDGs continue to be monitored and reported via the Teaching and Curriculum Working Group to the Education and Student Experience Delivery Board.
