The Culture and Community Engagement team (formerly Arts and Culture Projects) brings together university expertise with civic and sector partners, acting as a bridge nationally and locally between higher education, business and local people.

Renewable Energy Generation

The 天美传媒 has installed 157 Kw Peak capacity of renewable electricity generating solar panels. To date (3rd May 2024) our solar panels have produced 1,048,679 kilowatt hours of renewable energy since 2013, averaged across daylight hours, we are generating around 30Kw's per hour or 120,000 Kwh's per annum.

Since 2013 the 天美传媒 has been generating its own renewable energy for use on campus. The 天美传媒 uses 100% of its 'ZERO CARBON' generated electricity on campus.

Photo-voltaic Solar Panels

All of the 天美传媒's renewable energy generation comes from Solar Panels, the 天美传媒 also uses Combined Heat and Power Plants at Bedford and Luton to generate electricity, but this is considered to be low carbon.

There are currently five solar panel installations at the 天美传媒.
