Here you can find out about the Student Support Services in the university who can provide a variety of support for students based on individual needs and circumstances.

Beds Student Union (BEDS SU):

Student Engagement and Mitigation (SEAM) Support:

Health and Wellbeing Support:

  • Have a diagnosed long term health condition or disability including learning disability. Disability Support is available by emailing: Disability@beds.ac.uk
  • Support with mental health and wellbeing including practical advice and guidance for students, is available by emailing: Mentalhealth@beds.ac.uk
  • Access to counselling if students are experiencing any problems of a personal or emotional nature that may be interfering with academic work and life. Support is available by emailing: Counselling@beds.ac.uk

Buckinghamshire:

Northamptonshire:

Hertfordshire:

  • Hertfordshire/Hemel Hempstead -
  • provide advice, information and support to unpaid carers – people looking after someone who is elderly, disabled, has physical or mental illness or misuses drugs or alcohol. Support carers of all ages, children and adults if they live, work or care in Hertfordshire. Call 01992 586969.

Birmingham:

  • is there for you if you support someone in Birmingham who needs your help due to a disability, serious illness, frailty or addiction.

London:
