ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½

To be eligible for a Sports Scholarship you must:

• Be of a regional, county, national, international standard or play in BUCS within the last 12 months.
• Successfully accepted onto one of the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½â€™s full time courses or already on a course.
• Be a home, EU or International student.
• Be an undergraduate or postgraduate student.

Talented Performance Award

• You must be selected to represent the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ in a British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) team or event.
• Have played the sport in the past 12 months. This can be for the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ or your local club.
• You must be enrolled as a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ student.

If you play for a team sport (I.E Basketball, Netball etc) use the team sport form [DOCX]

If you play an individual sport (I.E Archery, Swimming Judo etc) us the individual sport form [DOCX]

Talented Sport Coach or Official Award

• You mush have a level one or equivalent NGB qualification.
• You must be enrolled as a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ student.

Gold Performance Sport Scholarship

• You must play your sport at a county, regional or appropriate global standard. This should have been with in the last 12 months or due to start in the un and coming season.
• You must be enrolled as a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ student.

Football Gold Performance Sport Scholarship

• You must play football at a county, regional or appropriate global standard. This should have been with in the last 12 months or due to start in the un and coming season.
• You must be enrolled as a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ student.
• You have to be enrolled on a School of Sport Science & Physical Activity Course

Rugby Union Gold Performance Sport Scholarship

• You must play Rugby Union at a county, regional or appropriate global standard. This should have been with in the last 12 months or due to start in the up and coming season.
• You must be enrolled as a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ student.
• You have to be enrolled on a School of Sport Science & Physical Activity Course

Gold Official Sport Scholarship

• You must be officiating at county, regional or appropriate global standard. This should have been within the last 12 months or due to start in the up and coming season.
• You must be enrolled as a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ student.

Platinum Performance Sport Scholarship

• You must be playing at a national, international or equivalent standard.
• You must be enrolled as a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ student.

The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ has 7 possible sport scholarships on offer for students to apply for. They are designed to support and develop students in their chosen sports. The Scholarships are for sport performers, coaches and officials. Students may only apply for one level of performance award or one level of coach/official award in each academic year.
