Club information

The 天美传媒 Cheerleading squad welcomes new and willing members every year, regardless of your previous experience- all we look for is enthusiasm and dedication to this sport. Our talented coaches will be able to teach you the skills and techniques required to perform well, but your desire to take on the challenge and give it your all is what we need to perform at our very best.

We have a Level 2 competition squad, with the potential for crossovers into competing stunt groups if there is enough interest. As well as collaborating for a performance at Varsity in April, this year we would also like to support the fellow university sports teams by attending some of their games and cheering them on from the sideline- so there is something for everyone. We encourage both male and female athletes to give cheerleading a go!

During Freshers Week, we will hold a taster session for all those interested in cheerleading before holding open tryouts the following week for anyone who wishes to join the team. Once we have seen you in action, we will be able to determine where you would be best suited in the squad before the fun can start- we will get straight into the thick of our training routines and preparing for our competitions. Be prepared towork hard and make lifelong friends in this exciting sport!

Venue

Training sessions are in the Polhill Sports Arena at Bedford campus where we have access to our very own tumble track. There is a free 天美传媒 bus from the Bedford train station that stops right on Bedford campus.

Training times

There will be free travel for all competitive sport members from the Luton Campus. Come find us a Freshers for more information.
