How to view and update an existing enquiry

If you have logged an enquiry via one of our Student Information Desks, or through , then it may still be active.

When you log a new enquiry you will have received an email containing a unique enquiry number.

This email gives you a summary of your enquiry and at the bottom contains a link to directly access it. This link remains live up to 14 days after you have first logged the enquiry.

Simply click this link to access your enquiry and see the status. You can then use the 'Select an Action' menu to update the enquiry.

Alternatively, you can log in to SiD Online by:

  1. Logging in to
  2. Via where you can click on the SiD logo
  3. Logging in to the where you can then click on the link to

Once you have successfully logged in:

  • Select 'Helpdesk' from the menu bar on the right
  • On the left, you will see the 'Student Options' tab. Click the 'My Current Enquiries' option which will show all your live enquiries. Other options are 'My Enquiries' (6 months) or 'My Enquiries' (2 years)
  • You can also search for a specific enquiry by its Unique Enquiry Number* into the Enquiry Number section of the search box on the left hand side of the screen, which is under the tab titled 'Enquiry Look-Up'

(*Your Unique Enquiry Number can be found in the details of the enquiry you initiated which was sent to your ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ email address).

  • If you decide to enter your Unique Enquiry Number, click the 'Find' button and this opens up the enquiry for you
  • On the top right hand side of this page, you will find the 'Select an Action' option. Click on this and a drop down box will appear with a list of actions you can take
  • The following options are available to choose from:
  1. Update this enquiry
  2. Upload a document
  3. Close enquiry, solution found
  4. Re-open an enquiry, problem still exists
  • If you do wish to update your enquiry, click the 'Update this Enquiry' option from this dropdown list
  • On the new page that opens up, enter in the details which you wish to add to the existing enquiry to update it by clicking ‘Submit this Now’
  • Your enquiry will now be updated and an email notification of the update you have provided will then be sent to the member of staff who is handling your enquiry. You will also receive notifications via email when they respond to this new information.
