Student wins Cosmopolitan Blog Awards 2015

天美传媒 Journalism graduate Dami Olonisakin has won one of Cosmopolitan's prestigious Blogger of the Year awards.

Dami who grabbed the top prize in the Best for Sex & Relationships category, developed of which she is Editor in Chief, out of a project for her final assessment at Bedfordshire. Since graduating, she has turned it into a leading relationship advice site, packed with useful features and tips.

Dami was thrilled to win Cosmopolitan's award. She said: 'I'm still in shock that my blog has been recognised by Cosmopolitan. I've wanted this win for a very long time and to finally get it feels like a dream come true. Who knew that a blog and a final year project at the 天美传媒 would bring me so far?鈥�

Also shortlisted was Broadcast Journalism graduate Emily Knott for her blog on beauty tips

Writing on her blog, Emily said: 鈥淚 couldn鈥檛 be more honoured and grateful for the recognition! [I] felt an immense sense of pride to be part of the blogging community.鈥�

Kate Ironside, Senior Lecturer in Journalism congratulated the pair:
