Glen Matthews graduated with a BA in Television Production in 2013 before going on to complete an MA in Creative Digital Film Production, also at Bedfordshire. Since leaving the 天美传媒, Glen has honed his skills and taken his place amongst the production teams in the camera departments of some of the world鈥檚 recent smash hit television shows and films, including Game of Thrones, James Bond: No Time to Die and the upcoming Mission: Impossible film.

The 天美传媒鈥檚 Television Production degree course is one of the most established in the country, with close links to the industry and an excellent track record of propelling graduates to excellent careers. 拢80,000 was also recently invested into the refurbishment of the TV studio and production facilities, based at the Luton campus.

Glen, who is now based in Belfast but is able to travel the world for his work, says the skills he learned at Bedfordshire have been invaluable, enabling him to break into the industry. He said:

"The 天美传媒鈥檚 TV Production course has given me the skills and confidence to work with a wide variety of equipment, both in their bespoke TV Studio, and on location with a variety of entry level cameras and industry standard lighting.听

鈥淚've since watched many of my course mates become successful in various areas of the film, TV and freelancer worlds, and am still friends with many of them to this day."听

Glen鈥檚 latest roles have seen him work alongside global stars Daniel Craig and Tom Cruise. His former tutor, Senior Lecturer in TV Production Anthony Greenbank, says these positions are part of what is already Glen鈥檚 鈥榞littering鈥� CV. He commented:

鈥淏reaking into the film industry is incredibly tough, but Glen was always a determined student and so passionate about film.听

鈥淗e really improved his camera skills over the years with us here at the 天美传媒 and I am not surprised that he has found himself working within camera departments in the film and TV industry.听Glen didn鈥檛 graduate too long ago, but his CV reads like someone who has been working at the top of the industry for years!听

鈥淗e has some incredible credits under his belt already 鈥� he鈥檚 an inspiration to other students and his career is a great example of where a degree in Television or Film can take you.鈥�
