Luton Sixth Form College takes over Radio LaB

Luton Sixth Form College鈥檚 future stars of radio have taken over the 天美传媒鈥檚 community station, Radio LaB.

Students from the College鈥檚 BTEC Radio course have produced and presented their own shows over a two week period, enabling them to develop significant experience in the world of live broadcasting.

Radio LaB coordinator Terry Lee said: 鈥淭he takeover is possibily the highlight of the year for Radio LaB. We love giving our platform to young Lutonians to share their views and make radio their way.鈥

radio teacher Andy Waterfeld said: 鈥淭his is a real highlight for the College. We鈥檙e lucky to be able to work with and the 天美传媒 to provide such an excellent opportunity.鈥

The annual takeover gives students the opportunity to create a wide range of programmes, from music based shows to features and discussion.

Michelle Jones, a student taking part in the project, said the takeover is 鈥渁n awesome experience鈥 while fellow Luton Sixth Form student Julita Litkowiec commented "I'm loving it - thanks to the College and the 天美传媒 for setting this up.鈥澨

The students taking part are Adam Cain, Adrian Dominiak, Dexter Harvey, Nathan Holland, Michelle Jones, Julita Litkowiec, Kyle Morris, and Nuhman Rehman.
