Celebrate Christmas at 'Carols by Candlelight'
Tue 01 December, 2015Bookings are now open for this year’s Luton and Bedford ‘Carols by Candlelight’ services, on behalf of the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½.
The Luton celebration, led by the award-winning Luton Youth Cantores, features carols and prayers, as well as a reading from the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½â€™s Vice Chancellor, Bill Rammell, who will also speak at the Bedford event.
Donations will be collected for Greenhouse Mentoring, a local charity providing mentoring to young people, young carers and young parents.
The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Dance and Theatre Societies will contribute to the Bedford service, alongside Bedford Choral Society Chamber Choir, gospel singers from Three Rivers Church and singer-songwriter Marc James.
The chosen charity for the Bedford event is Bedfordshire Refugee and Asylum Seeker Support (BRASS).
Traditional Christmas refreshments – mince pies, stollen, mulled wine or fruit juice – will follow both events.
Revd. Andrew Goodman (Treehouse Chaplaincy Team) and Revd. Cass Howes (Community & Faith Centre) invite you, family, friends and colleagues to both celebrations, tickets for which can be booked at the following links.
