ELAS English language test
ELAS is a language test created by the Centre for English as a Foreign Language to assess a candidate's level of English for 天美传媒 admission purposes. The test consists of four parts: listening, reading, writing and speaking. A separate score is awarded for each part.
Applicants who are in the process of applying for a degree course at the university and do not already have an English language qualification may request to do the test at our campus in Luton.
How to book a test
If you would like to book to do an ELAS test in Luton, please email us at englishtest@beds.ac.uk. When contacting us, please state:
- your full name
- email address
- student number (if you have already been given one by admissions)
- the date when you would like to take the test

- Friday, 16th August
- Friday, 23rd August
- Friday, 30th August
- Friday, 6th September

If you would like additional materials to practise your English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, we suggest you look for other exam preparation materials such as IELTS practice tests, which are widely available online.
