Dr Benson Ip
Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy
Dr Benson IP joined the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ in 2025. He is a registered Occupational Therapist in UK, Hong Kong, Australia & New Zealand. Dr IP is devoted and passionate about the caring services and health technology innovation in aged care, pioneering a research project on Virtual Reality technology on fall prevention for older adults with mild cognitive impairment and dementia.
Over 25 years of working experiences, he is experienced in eldercare management and community-based rehabilitation for people living with disability and dementia. He has gained extensive clinical experiences in Australia, Hong Kong and New Zealand particularly in eldercare, managing models and innovative health technology services.
Dr IP became the first Eden Alternative associate in Hong Kong, and he is enthusiastic in promoting this new eldercare service model and in supporting care culture education within Hong Kong and surrounding countries. He is considered one of the Eden Asia regional educators and has been supporting and learning the Eden curricula, to take this into Hong Kong and Macau.
