Richard Lumb
Senior Lecturer In Non-Medical Prescribing
I qualified as a nurse in 2006 and spent my earlier career consolidating my skills in an acute care setting.
I became a nurse prescriber in 2009 and spent the rest of my clinical career in an out-of-hours setting providing treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, including helping set up and run a minor injuries unit in Hertfordshire. In addition to this, I have helped provide medical cover at various events throughout the country, working closely with our paramedic colleagues to build up my pre-hospital experience and expertise.
I joined The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ in 2015 as a Senior Lecturer providing teaching for the NMC and HCPC-approved Non-Medical Prescribing Course.
