Clayron Dyer
Senior Lecturer in Midwifery
I qualified as a registered nurse in 1996, and have spent my nursing career working in the county of my birth Trinidad, on the medical and gynaecological ward. I migrated to the UK in 1999 working at the local trust in the cardiac unit. I became a qualified midwife in 2002 and worked at a local trust until 2021.
I have a deep passion for healthcare, health promotion and education. This led me to successfully apply and work in the education team as a Clinical practice facilitator to continue teaching and supporting students until 2001. I started my teaching career at the 天美传媒 in March 2001 and this is my end goal.
In my additional role as Recruitment Lead, I support the Admission Department with the recruitment of prospective midwifery students with a lot of support from my amazing team.
I attained my MSc qualifications in patient safety at the 天美传媒, and am proud to be a member of the 天美传媒 teaching staff.
