I am a second year in automotive engineering. I have had a love and involvement in Motorsport since a young age, and Formula Student is a great way for university engineers to get involved in Motorsport early. I hope to further my career in Formula 1 eventually, as a Performance engineer.

Hi, my name is Poojitha. I am an International Student from Sri Lanka in my third year who is very excited and interested in working on the formula student project. I have experience in the automotive industry as a mechanic and help building race cars in Sri Lanka. I am excited to take on this project as it would allow me to work and help my team and university compete among other universities in the UK. I believe my experience in the field would be quite helpful here.

I鈥檓 currently in my final year studying Automotive Engineering at the 天美传媒, where I鈥檝e honed my skills in CAD, vehicle dynamics, materials, and manufacturing methods.

Motorsport has always been a passion of mine and being part of Formula Student has given me an incredible platform to bring my engineering knowledge to life. Whether it's pushing the boundaries of design or collaborating with talented teammates, I鈥檓 driven by the thrill of building something extraordinary.

One of my big achievements was leading the Chassis design for our Formula Student team,. I鈥檝e had the privilege of overseeing the design and testing of arguably the most critical component that makes up the car. My role involves ensuring the chassis meets performance, safety and weight requirements all while seamlessly integrating with the other systems of our car. With a strong focus on innovation and precision, I strive to create a foundation that maximises the team's success on and off the track.

My career aspirations include working in either the automotive or within the motorsport industry. This means that Formula Student serves as a perfect training ground for this aspiration which will bridge the gap between academic learning and professional application. Formula Student will allow me to build on and solidify pre-existing skills as well as learn new ones that will become vital when I move into the world of work.

I am currently in my third year of studying Mechanical Engineering, driven by a deep passion for working with my hands and a natural talent for tackling practical problems involving machines and tools. My enthusiasm for mechanical systems and hands-on projects has led me to become an active member of the Formula Student team at my university.

Participating in Formula Student offers a unique and invaluable opportunity to collaborate with fellow students on the design, construction, and optimization of a high-performance race kart. I am currently studying automotive engineering at UOB in my first year. I chose this course as I've had an interest in cars and motorsport from a young age, and after working for a few years after education I decided that I would follow my interest and passion in cars and motorsports and try and turn that into my career. I am currently involved in several projects other than formula student within the university from working on the Sinclair c5 that broke the land speed record (The Alien) as well making a display out of broken Mazda engine. I am part of formula student for several reasons firstly it gives me a chance to apply the knowledge that I learn in classes in a practical way, as well as getting to design a race car from the ground up with a lot of freedom for different ideas. Secondly is it gives me opportunities and experiences that would not be possible in classes alone such as working in a team with the same goal of making the fastest car around the circuit, and hands on experience designing and making the car from scratch. With this I hope to gain valuable knowledge and experience in a motorsport setting which I can use with my degree to peruse the career in motorsport.听

I鈥檓 Myles, a Foundation year student in Mechanical Engineering. My goal is to work in motorsport one day and I believe that Formula Student alongside my course, will help me get there. I am a Second-year electronic and electrical engineering student; I studied electronic engineering as I鈥檝e always been interested on how things work since I was young and it blends in my interested in problem solving, sparking my interest how electronic systems work.

I have chosen this course to further pursue my passion for cars and bikes, with the hope of one day starting my career in motorsport. I am an aspiring final-year mechanical engineering student who has a passion for machine design, performance engineering, and hands-on problem-solving. I am from Bangladesh and completed my GCSE and A-Levels there. From an early age, I was curious about technological advancement around the world, this led me to study science in secondary and higher secondary education. Following this curiosity, I developed a keen interest in machine designing, performance testing, and how theoretical science and mathematics can be applied practically.

I chose to join the Formula student team for numerous reasons. Firstly, to acquire hands-on experience in designing, prototyping, and testing a real car; this practical application of engineering principles complements theoretical knowledge.
