Kathryn Jones
Professional Lead for Post Qualifying Practice Education and Course Coordinator for MA Applied Social Work: Practice Education
I qualified as a social worker in 1982 and before joining the 天美传媒 in 2006, I worked within a local authority setting, mainly in adult care teams, with a particular interest in older people and mental health. After gaining my practice teaching award in 2005, I developed a strong interest in practice learning and have worked as a practice teacher, both as part of the local authority and as an independent practice teacher. When I first joined the university, it was as the professional lead for practice learning, I have since spent a year working within a local authority setting, and on my return have become the post qualifying lead for practice learning.
