I have been teaching health and social care, business and psychology subjects in a number of educational settings in the United Kingdom since I qualified with a masters degree in Psychological Approaches to Health and Management in 2008.
I joined the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ in September 2017. My position is Lecturer in Applied Social Science. I enjoy adopting a creative and innovative approach to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I am also an Ex-British Psychological Society Graduate member. My teaching is heavily influenced by my research experience and interests. I have been enjoying developing my students’ critical thinking to enable them to create links to contemporary social issues. I teach in an interactive and inclusive style, following a pedagogy teaching approach that seeks to engage all students regardless of academic ability.
