Dr Bari-ika Vite
Lecturer in Applied Social Sciences/Health & Social Care
Dr. Bari-ika Vite holds a PhD in Health, Education, Medicine, and Social Care, with a specialisation in the Sociology of health and illness and integrated healthcare. Throughout his evolving role, he joined the Health and Social Care Course team in 2021 at the 天美传媒. His objective is to design and deliver course units that foster inclusivity and understanding for all students, regardless of their diverse backgrounds. Bari-ika employs an interactive teaching style, drawing on his research experience and interests, with a commitment to engaging students of all academic abilities. He has extensive experience in teaching research methodologies at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
As a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy, Bari-ika currently serves as the Equality and Diversity lead at the Milton Keynes campus. His academic knowledge and teaching experience were cultivated at Anglia Ruskin 天美传媒 and the 天美传媒 of Suffolk. Before joining the 天美传媒, he worked with Children and Youth Organisations, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP), served as an Associate Research Officer, and held a Visiting Lecturer position. Bari-ika has also worked with NHS England in the UK.
