Heritage Conversations Symposium

Registering participants to the symposium

On 17th May 2023, the Culture and Community Engagement Team hosted the ‘Heritage Conversations: Supporting Communities to Thrive’ symposium at the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½â€™s Luton Campus to share learnings from our programmes: Heritage Enterprise Hub and Heritage Impact Accelerator

The day was divided into two key themes: Heritage, leadership and capacity building, and Heritage futures and widening access. To explore these, a combination of talks, panel discussions and roundtable workshops were organised by the team and delivered by a total of 26 established community heritage and cultural practitioners, academics, strategic leads from local authorities and partner higher education institutions.

The event fostered interesting discussions and provided an excellent opportunity to share the outcomes of Heritage Impact Accelerator and Heritage Enterprise Hub with a wider range of people.
