Second Transnational Project Meeting in a Virtual Space
The AWARE project held its 2nd Transnational Project Meeting (TNM2) online on 8th October 2021.
The meeting was hosted by the Polish Farm Advisory and Training Centre. Several representatives of six partners from five countries: Ireland, UK, Italy, Belgium and Poland, attended the meeting.
Firstly, the partners reflected on the 1st Learning, Teaching & Training Activities (LTTA1) that took place on 5th -7th October in a virtual space and was hosted by the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Business School. The 3-day event was packed with various talks and presentations from business people, agri-food women entrepreneurs, experts and teachers in entrepreneurship, business studies and management. The aim of the TNM2 was to discuss project progress, including revised timeline, achievements to date, further development of the Intellectual Output 1 (IO1) and plan for development of the Intellectual Output 2 (IO2).
The project coordinator from the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) gave an overview of IO1 ‘Start your Own Food Business Curriculum design’, reported survey dissemination and response rate for gathering data sets, presented a draft curriculum and set up a timeline for translation activities.
Professor Yanqing Duan, the project leader from the Business School, gave an overview of IO2 ‘Online Module Content and Digital Learning Toolkit’, for which the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ is a leading partner. There was a discussion around module structure and content, online digital learning resources, timeline and allocation of tasks among partners.
At the end of the meeting the partners discussed website material and structure, marketing strategy, dissemination and evaluation activities, revised the main time schedule and agreed on the date of next intermediate partners meeting.
