On 30th September we welcomed Professor Jyoti Choudrie from the 天美传媒 of Hertfordshire Business School, who delivered a session on how to make successful publication.

Professor Choudrie is on the editorial board of few highly ranked journals including Information Technology & People (Co-Editor-in-Chief), European Journal of Information Systems (Senor Editor) and others. She has extensive experience of investigating the social 'digital' inclusion and adoption of Information and Communications Technologies on society鈥檚 鈥榤arginal groups鈥�; the adoption, use and diffusion of innovative Information and Communication Technologies in Small to Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs) and large organisations.

Professor Choudrie talked about why we submit papers, where we can submit, and what we should consider during submission. She presented the aim and scope of few journals in the area of Information Management and Information Systems, discussed on how to approach journal editors and what a good covering letter looks like. She also addressed a range of questions by the workshop participants.

The workshop was organised by Dr Ahmad Daowd from the Business and Information Systems Research Centre (BISC).
