• CLI: Plans are underway for our annual Writing Retreat which we hold each year in July. We will be ably mentored again this year by Professor Jo Brewis, from the 天美传媒 of Leicester. We have just held our May seminar with Rudy Ocler presenting his work on story telling and the hegemony of managerial capitalism, which he is writing with co-author David Boje.

• CLI is a finalist for the Leadership Research Award. The winner will be announced on the 25th November
• CLI news: Our monthly seminar series has recommenced. Christina Schwabenland presented a seminar on her work in October. In November Janet Akhile and Jean Egbegi will present. Christina Schwabenland is attending the UN Forum on Business and Human Rights in Geneva, in November as a delegate of the Humanistic Management Network.
