Investing in our Estates and Facilities
- A pipe work survey will be undertaken in A Block across 28th & 29th June.
- The Psychology A200 corridor is to be refurbished. Works start Monday 1st July; conclude Friday 26th July
- The porta-cabins at Putteridge Bury will be demolished. Works to be completed by 6th July.
- The stair lights in Blocks A & C will be replaced. Works start Saturday 6th July; conclude Sunday 21st July.
- New gas and water pipework to be installed in the C300 Science Labs. Works start Monday 22nd July; conclude Friday 23rd August.
- The air door curtains in both Campus Centre and the PG Centre will be replaced. Works start Monday 12th August; conclude Monday 2nd September.
- The DDA toilets across Luton campus will be upgraded. Works start Monday 5th August; conclude Friday 6th September.
- The windows in Block P, Bedford Campus, will be replaced. Works start Monday 22nd July; conclude Friday 16th August.
- Block T1 in Bedford will be refurbished as an EES staff office. Works start Monday 15th July; conclude Friday 2nd August.
- The hoardings at Putteridge Bury will be repainted ahead of the Graduation ceremonies. Works start Monday 17th June; conclude Friday 28th June.
- A new roof will be installed on the dining room at Putteridge Bury. Works start Monday 5th August; conclude Friday 6th September.
- New taps to be installed in the Postgraduate Centre.
- All plant rooms are to have gas servicing works undertaken.
- Partitions in the LRC are to be updated.
- Roof works will take place in the Campus Centre, Luton. This project will result in some disruption, due to a spider lift being required inside the building.
- Water heaters in Bedford are to be updated. Date TBC, but should be completed by end of July.
